OUR STORY

RetreatWise was created by the founder of Hidden Leaf Baja after discovering a missing foundation in the retreat world. While building and hosting retreats in Baja, she saw that leaders were deeply skilled at holding space and creating transformation—but lacked the strategic tools needed to price, plan, and sustain their work. RetreatWise was born from that gap: a need for support that honored the spiritual and the strategic sides of retreat leadership.

With over 15 years of experience across legal operations, financial structuring, project management, compliance, and privacy—paired with the lived reality of running a successful retreat space—the founder began building practical tools out of necessity. What started as a pricing calculator to answer real-world questions (“Am I charging enough?” “What’s my risk?” “Will this retreat actually be profitable?”) evolved through dozens of retreats, facilitators, and scenarios. As word spread, so did the vision. RetreatWise became a platform designed to help leaders understand the business of retreats—so they can lead with clarity, price with confidence, and build work that is both meaningful and sustainable.
